Term Reflection

The thing I have enjoyed the most over the term was swimming.

I really enjoyed this activity because we played a lot of games and our teacher was really nice.

I am really proud of the amount of blog posts I have put on my blog  this term.

Next term I need to work on my behavior in class and out of class.

Something I learnt this term was how to slope in handwriting and trying to link my letters.

Living with a Volcano

This article was about people living with volcanoes and how the volcanoes helped the people living around the volcano. The volcanoes especially helped dairy farmers because the grass was good for the cows. I thought this article was a good article because it had a graph about aeroplanes. The graph said how much people can fit on the planes. I learnt that there is a volcano that erupted in 2010 and that volcano is called ayeyahfayatlieyurgurt. Some flights got cancelled from and to Heathrow because the ashes and smoke were in front of the plain . My question is when will ayeyahfayatlieyurgurt erupt again. When ayeyahfayatlieyurgurt erupted there were a lot of people that were stranded at airports because the planes were delayed

Bruce Potter

On the fourth of september 2013 Bruce Potter came to our school. Bruce Potter is an a amazing illustrator. He drew this teddy bear on a motorbike riding away from a angry skeleton in a tank.  Bruce Potter also sings songs that he writes himself. I learnt that you should never give up.

My Time in the Pool

In this photo I am trying to swim to the end of the pool without taking a breath.  It was really hard but I am proud of my self for holding my breath that long.  Today we got a chance to play with the diving boards and we played some games.  It was really fun because I won one of the games we played.

We used an image from google images. Then enlarged it on to a square grid, I am proud of my scale drawing because I took my time and didn't rush.

Math Magician game

Today for maths Mrs. miller told that we could play educational games and I chose this game its is called math magician and I got 100/ in just 1 minute and 9 seconds.

 

My Class Of The Future

This is my future class that I have designed, In my class I put Desks with computers on the top of them for our digital learning. I have put a library room inside my class so that the students can learn how to read more challenging books. I have put two aquariums with fish inside so the students can learn how to look after their pets. I have put a teacher aide room for miss kelly to use for her groups. I have put a game room in my class so when you get 50 ticks you will be aloud in the game room. I have a music room inside my class for learning how to play different instruments.

My Speech Reflection

How well did I do with my speech?

My speech topic was about should we have a mufti uniform.

My voice was good because I spoke nice and clear.

I stood up and tried my best and stood still and relaxed.

The hardest part of speeches was standing in front of an audience.

I am proud of myself for standing in front of my class.

Next time I will try to make my speech interesting by adding more detail.

Des Hunts visit

The author Des Hunt came to visit us today he used chemistry and physics to teach us about writing. He made it interesting and fun. I learnt that you need a good hook, problem and ending for writing.

Yesterday we did handwriting with a toothpick and ink, I thought it was hard because it was hard to hold and the toothpick was too small.

My day at Eastern beach

Monday 4 of March 2013 we went to Eastern Beach. One of the things I did was play cricket but the highlight of my day was swimming. When I jumped in it was very cold but when I stayed in it was not   

very cold anymore. 

Mathematical Me
